The Academos team regularly posts columns and training courses in the discussion forums on the Academos site. Here’s what you’ll find in February and March:
E-mentors’ forum:
- Column: How to respond to a message that doesn’t fit with Academos’ objectives. Currently online.
- Training: Ethics in e-mentoring. To avoid disappointments and ensure that all parties enjoy an enriching mentoring experience, we would like to introduce three broad guidelines pertaining to ethics in mentoring. Online in March 2009.
Group leaders’ forum:
- Column: How to benefit from the e-mentoring relationship. Have you noticed that several students only write two or three messages to their e-mentor? It’s probably because they have trouble benefiting from their relationship with their e-mentor. Currently online.
E-mentees’ forum:
- Column: Looking for a summer job. Tips and ideas to help you in your job search. Online soon in March.
